Last time I wrote on here, I had just aquired my hooves.  So far, for the past two days, I have worn my hooves when I was walking around Downtown Denver.  And ONLY my hooves.  At first the pain got to me and caused me to stumble, but that is the purpose of wearing them often.  You have to break in your hooves, like any shoes, no matter how painful it can be.  Downtown, I had 10 pictures taken of my hooves, 25 people ask me what they were and to comment, and I have one person who now wants to get a full tack set and hooves for her submissive boyfriend.

I guess I can say that it was a job well done.

The pain still gets me to at points, like saturday night.  I had worn them for twelve hours, almost always walking or standing, and even wore them to the club.  I didn't have any other shoes me with, but that didn't really matter.  The pain in my toes got to the point where I had to sit down often and not move, but I continued to wear them and tough if out.  I took them off to sleep that night for I was at a friends house, but they were right back on the next day.  Although the pain was not as bad, my feet had little time to recover from the pressure and gained pain quickly.  I realized then that they were so painful, and my legs so shakey, because I hadn't eaten anything in two days.  So, I ate, and the pain nearly disappeared and I was able to walk and trot more without needing to sit down or lean on someone.

I feel kind of bad, however, for at another friends house I wasn't able to wear my hooves the entire night, from eight at night to the next morning.  Just recently I put my hooves back on to trot around my carpet while my mother was gone, and found that it is much easier both movement wise and speed wise to move on carpet then it is on cobblestone and sidewalks.  Go figure, right?

Tomorrow is my first "Offical" day as Wildfire's pony and servant, and I hope it goes well.  I'm starting to get the hang of my new feet and legs, and I know that soon I won't feel the pain at all.  I guess beauty is pain, and it is so worth it all.
